Quick description
This article introduces some of the standard models of discrete probability (percolation, Ising model, simple random walk, first-passage percolation). The probability measures in these models are often quite simple, as they are either product measures or Gibbs measures; however, the events one is interested in depend crucially on the spatial structure.
Prerequisites
Elementary probability.
