If people find it more helpful, this info could be put in the formatting help page right where the [image] directive is explained. Another related thought: when the [image] directive is inserted in an article with an image that isn't yet on tricki, currently tricki displays a broken image symbol indicating the file is not uploaded yet. Perhaps the user could also be given a short message how s/he can do the upload. Or as in mediawiki, a link can appear where the image should be to an interface where the image can be uploaded.
